OK, here we go, the next thing to look forward to before we hit the water!!!!

I will be the record keeper, Clark, will be the physical consultant, both without wages. Submit on the forum your date, with hour. Obviously, for you guys from North Dakota, I got to tell you add am or pm.

The date and time will be the date and time the car frame on Cass Lake will go under the ice...We /They actually do these things up here to wager on and have a good time, so let's get on it!!!

Since Clark will not be staying up all day and night with a flashlight in hand, there are sensors on the car which will dedect the exact time of death of this car. Soooo, get your entries in fast, there are over three thousand of you out there, let's hear from you!!!

Deadline for all official INVOMINNESOTA entries is April 2 (not 1st), 2007, at noon. All judges evalutions are final. Anyone who has been deleted by this forum is not eligible.

Reward: "U'Da Best",
1/2 day fishing trip with Col Ron

Col Ron has it right - no wages - no wagers - no worries - all for fun so get your entries in. I will post a picture tomorrow and post the day and time it goes through the ice.

The Cass Lake Lions Club is the official sponsor of this event and if you want to help out and get in, the tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 deadline March 31. Contact me if you want in, I will put you in touch with the right people.

For all concered the vehicle is a burned truck with all the drive train removed and everything has been cleared to place it on the ice with one restriction, it must be removed ASAP after going through the ice....

Has that car frame been left out there on purpose? If so, why? Where abouts is it at. Hopefully its over deep water, so as not to cause a problem for lower units. Post a pic if you can.

The truck is on the ice at the public access on Hwy 2 about 100 yards off shore (fairly shallow). As soon as it goes through the Lions Club (and the volunteer fire dept. if needed) will retrieve it.

The Lions Club does this for a fund raiser and it DOES NOT STAY IN THE LAKE

Texan,

Here is what I can tell you;

ice thickness - 30+ "
ice density - frozen solid
humidity - low
dewpoint - no dew on anything yet
weight - pounds
winds - south 15-20 (today)
solar angle - spring at 7:07 pm today
evaporation - still below freezing

Now you know the rest of the story !
