Cookie We need to get you using braided line so it would matter how long you take to get the net, unless the fish throws the hook set.

I think all these braided lines and spider wires are a way for the poor sportsman out there to catch fish. Give the poor fish a chance. If they snap the line, or you break it buy horsing the fish. Then so be it. The fish beat you that day. Keep it sporting gentlemen!

The advantage of braided line. I prefer Power Pro. Is that you can fish heavy HEAVY cover. Plus you get hooked up on a stump or rock or even a dock and you are not loosing a 5 dollar lure. There are many advatages to braided other than good hook up ratios. It cast better. Not many line twists. Doesnt even really get old or brittle. Try It!!

I use braided, but usually 20lb test only, as an advantage in cover. Just do not buy a cheap rod with poor guides on it, as the braided cut a slot in my guides on one rod. That taught me a lesson on guide quality.
