Well, we've got hats now, so next year Ffishman is gonna be selling shirts, I hope:

Our host at PikeHole, Frank:

Who says Cass doesn't set down? Musta been when all the fishermen were at lunch instead of out tearin' it up, huh?

Our webmaster, Scott (the younger dude), and his dad:

Texan, The Col and his missus (you know who's who!):

My sister and our nephew (any of you guyz want a diehard to fish with?):

Fishin' wit 3 Freds - more diehards, and my other partners in crime:

Ffishman, MuskyMark's dad, and MM (L to R):

And now some of the entire group:

A fantastic turnout, I tried to get in a word with many of youz guyz, but I'm sorry I didn't get to chat with all.

If anyone couldn't hear the toast I made, or just wants the words, lemmee know.

Maybe next year I'll get even MORE booze in me then I'll come out of my shell!

Very nice Gene, I did not think to take as many photos, it was a nice luncheon, in the middle of a great fishing day. Gene, thanks again for the CD for everyone, the songs are a hoot! Didn't hear the Chicago Bears fight song!! Your job on the maps was quite an effort, our thanks to your employer for use of the coping machine.

I wish you would take time with your family a share a few beers over the campfire with us at our place. Maybe next year.

Thanks again,

Col Ron

I almost made it over. I was gonna try to see you and Clark, but at the last minute, my sister volunteered not to fish so I went out instead.

It's a date next year for sure, so mark your calendar.

Yeah, we didn't like the warden (or some of the other inmates either) over there at jailminnesota.com so we all either escaped (left) or were pardoned (banned) and now have ended up in what you might consider to be like one of those white-collar criminal places - and, man oh man, is it ever easy doing time here on Invo. As you see, some of us (there's that mouse in my pocket again) spend lots of time in this torture palace. I call it a torture palace because for 51 weeks a yr it is pure torture waiting for our trip to Cass while reading everybody else's comments and the kidding that goes on. My Grannie always said, "you gotta laugh or you'll cry".

What great pictures. Lots of good memories. I've only been back one day, and am already looking forward to next year. Just want to thank Ron for the hats, they look great. And also gene for the cd's and maps, great stuff!

Those are some great photos. Except of the one of me, dad, and ffishman. Do I look fat in that picture? Wink

Don't want to rub anyone's nose in it... but all I have to do is hold on until Tuesday night, Oct. 3rd. Then the ship of fools embarks again on a northerly course for the clear, cold waters of Cass Lake. Making my reservations today baby! WOO WHOOO!

Okay. Enough gloating. I am looking forward to the crew getting back together next June. Without trying to be tongue in cheek... "It don't get any better than this." I know my dad and I repeated that phrase, and meant it, several times while floating around on those lakes and drinking a brew in the sun. Ahhhhh. Cool

MM, I think you look a little anemic to me, down right thin. Maybe a few more brews and you will beef up a tad. Don't forget, the camera adds ten pounds. Also, more weight in a boat helps the ride. That's why we carry so much beer when we go out.
