Awright Ff, just don't twist the knife, ok.
And to quote another Cass-lover, remember this:
"Early Ripe, Early Rotten". Don't order your playoff tix just yet!
Packers are not doing badly considering about 6 starters are out with injuries this yr. But yesterday another fumble by the Pack...into the endzone...cost them 7 and probably the game.
That's 2 they lost and shoulda won due to fumbles this year.
(Remember the end of the Bear/Pack game earlier this yr)?
They should be way ahead of the Bears.
Oh well.
Bears vs Pack at Lambeau in Jan to end the reg season could be interesting.
Stay tuned. |

Not trying to rub salt in the wound, but I just saw something on the sports channel that I don't understand. As things stand right now, the pack is on the bubble to being knocked off for the wild card spot. I know the vikes are gone, but I guess the pack had a good shot at a wild card. That wild card thing is confusing. Go Bears-Super Bowl here we come. I hope. |

The pack turned into a 1 trick pony this season. And, it looks like the trick is over with. If the Bears win against the vikes, and the pack loses to the Pats, the Bears win the division. If that happens the final game between the Bears and the pack will mean nothing. And I thought that was going to be a really great game. |

Junior, we have always gone in June. Some years ago we decided on also a Sept trip.. I looked in all my June spots, and the walleyes were not there. We did ultimately find them, but it took some doing. Ergo, be ready for a big change in your spots. With a little luck, maybe the resort owner can give you a heads up on where to start. |

You can't go wrong with Sept. the fall fishing is some of the best you'll ever find. |

The june spots are still good. You just have to move 20+ft deeper. You will find them anywhere from 25ft to even as deep as 50ft at times. Crank baiting at night is awesome as they move up on top of the flats at night. If the full moon falls on your trip, a night time crank bait run could yield multiple fish over 5 lbs. |

Good tips Chris.
I was there that same Sept week with Sven when Ff was there and that was indeed a tough week -- hardly any Rockies.
Happy Holidays. |

Junior, one other thing. The Sept we went, when we got there we had to turn on the AC in the cabin, dang it was hot. My Thursday, we had the Heat on and were putting on all the clothes we had with. Weather can change fast up there. |

Well, I, for once, partied responsibly....a game of cards while watching a video of Sons of Anarchy...which only was watchable thanks to Miller Lite.
Home by 1 (did not drive) and then drank my favorite beer...On Sale...until the wee hrs....then a big fight with the GF.
Gonna take down the tree to start the new yr and then it's onto whatever the Master Plan has in store.
3pm Central tomorrow.....GB will beat 'da Bears. |
