Clark...I sent you a PM...when you get the chance could you get back to me with some info? Thanks

so far to date for northern michigan....65 + inches of snow...10 to 12 inches expected in the next 24 hours....BUT ...on the bright side...the crappie are hitting like crazy on the hard water...so there is always an UP side to things right???

Hope you are all having a healthy holiday season....Merry Christmas!!!

Tim

Chris and Nevadafisherman, we also get Lou Malnati's pizzas delivered here in the far west and have for quite a few years. What a great way to celebrate New Years eve. Still wish we were waiting for a table at Uno's as we used to.

Weather has fishing, hunting and most outdoor activities on hold for a while. Big snow storm just came through and pretty cold right now as usual after a storm.

A good friend who lives near Bemidji and another who has a farm near Nebish said snow has been pretty good so here's hoping for a rise in the lakes for the upcoming season.

Reservations already in for 2009, so after the new year, let the countdown begin. Too many for me to count with going in Sept, so you guys and gals will have to start it for the opener.

Have at it. Bob Very Happy

Well Mother Nature has got to be going thru a change of life crisis. The snow was nice for the kids for Christmas but the ice we could have done without, yesterday got up to 58 on my temp outside and I was cleaning up the branches from around the yard and most the snow is gone. Got up this morning and went out to get the paper and dang near froze my chestnuts off. What happened????? Colder than a well digger tookus in the Yukon out there agian.... Had to run in and start up the fire place and get a cup of hot choloate with a shot of Yukon Jack just so I could feel my feet agian. But hey thats winter here outside of Chicago, like they say if you don't like the weather wait 24 hours it will change and boy did it.
Other thing is I did something I swore I wouldn't ever do go to a Movie day after Christmas but the wife and MIL wanted to see that Marley and ME and got to say it was good. Only thing is at the end I was crying like a baby and the wife had to leave with 30 minutes left in the movie. Good movie but not if you lost a loved pet in the last 6 months. Go see it if you love your pet. Alot of it I laughed till I almost wet myself.
Stay warm all.....
