Has anyone had a boat in the water up there yet? How about a line wet?

I've been out a couple times, caught a bunch of accidental walleyes(should be a phenomenol opener), some decent perch, but no slabs as of yet. The water is still a little on the chilly side, 44 degrees was the warmest I found but the majority of the lake was around 38-39 degrees. We need the lake to get up in the 50's until we start seeing crappies in shallow, and with the temps in the 60's that we are suppose to be getting next week might just be what we need to get things going!

With the west wind today if there any ice left out there it should show up in a day or two. I was out of town for the greeks wedding. He is now a married man. Down at the lake this morning all I could see was open water, with that classic redlake tinge to it. We should be good for opener with temps predicted in the mid 50s. Better get back to work as I still have plenty of things to do around here.
