Ron mentioned this guy in another post but I don't know anything about a 52". He told me this one went "54.5 on the nuts" and he had a 50" and 2 mid 40's in the boat for his first two weeks of vacation. Great fish, maybe fish of a lifetime no doubt! It will be interesting to see what a guy can do on Cass in 7 weeks of musky hunting!

One of the best Muskie hunters I have run across, I have his boat in storage at my place. I will be on the water with him the last two weeks of July. I took him out one time during his first week here. He has a great grasp of the lake already. Too bad he won't be around for the Muskie tournaments in September, my money would have been on him.

So any other catching... I mean fishing reports from the Ohio guy?

Col. Ron.... I hereby deputize/authorize you to shadow this man around the lake at all times. I'll require collection of gps locations, times, techniques, and lure or lure descriptions. Color photos of the baits (with a good telescopic lense) preferred. That is all.

Mark,

He was very nice and no need to follow him, he has been fishing well known spots. Shared info on the baits he used to catch the fish too. Like I said, nice guy. Many times he would pull up on the same structure I was fishing and I would pull up on the same one he was on. That is the nice thing about some of the big spots on Cass, two or three boats can all be on fish at the same time.

MM,

No need for all of that, like I said, the first week he was here I showed him around the entire lake. Heck, I didn't even use the paper bag!! He did the rest after locating the spots.

We will be out the next two weeks, starting on Saturday. I will hopefully send you some great pictures.
