Temp was 16 down in the twin cities today. I think we may have two Ice out dates for local lakes. One this weekend and now one in a week or so.

Five of us went up friday with my new 6.5x12 drop down house and caught almost nothing.

Went 7.5 miles out of hillmans and then headed north west 1 mile on friday
five hours 13 walleyes, 1 crappie ...

Gentle man at my work was given this picture from his friend who works with the guy that caught the fish. They were on rainy lake and it was 1lb 12oz less then the state record.

Cookie We need to get you using braided line so it would matter how long you take to get the net, unless the fish throws the hook set.
