Title: Teaching old cats new tricks

Tip_Story:

When fishing for cats in the spring, work the stink baits in slow water and in the summer migrate to live bait such as suckers and gold eye and then in the fall work on small baits combining stink and live bait in slow water.  Remember that if you are not getting many bites in a day of fishing try going to smaller bait.  This will allow even the lazy cat to take a nibble.  "A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work".  Tip of the day.  In MN you can use Bull heads for bait as long as they are less than 6" long and believe me they love them.  You do not have to snip the spines they love them all the same.

See you on the water.
